Sur La Roche is one of Vergisson’s finest vineyards and most of it is classified as Pouilly-Fuissé 1er Cru. The higher, more northerly section is only allowed the Mâcon-Vergisson appellation but still makes a rich, aromatic, generous wine that is one of the best value wines of the region.
