We recently tasted this wine at Chateau Mouton Rothschild and as soon as we got back to the UK we had to buy this great wine.
Tasting notes
The wine is an attractive, dark garnet red with crimson highlights.
The highly elegant nose expresses aromas of mown hay, violet and intense black fruit, together with peppery and spicy notes.
The supple and succulent attack ushers in a round body on fresh fruit flavours, while the mid-palate, with a satin texture and creamy tannins, reveals liquorice and black olive notes, leading into a long, elegant and flavourful finish.
