Arabako Txakolina is a DO in the Basque Country, Northern Spain. The DO, officially recognised only in 2001, is the youngest in the region and one of only three recognised areas for Txakoli (pronounced `chack-oh-lee`). The others are Bizkaiko Txakolina and Getariako Txakolina. Arabako Txakolina has a relatively cool, humid climate which gives Txakoli`s main grape variety, Hondarrabi Zuri, a long ripening period.
