Les Coères is one of the finest premiers crus in Montagny but part of the climat was inexplicably not classified as such when the appellation was created in the 1930s. Fermented and aged for 9 months in oak barrels, this is rich and spicy with lovely, honeyed fruit and just the right amount of oak. Drink 2024-2026.
