The 2016 Vosne Romanee Champs Perdrix Vieilles Vignes has a very attractive bouquet with bright crushed strawberry, redcurrant and raspberry scents, underneath which lies fine tension and delineation if not the puissance of the 2015. The palate is smooth and fleshy, with good body with ample red cherry and strawberry notes, leading to a satisfying weighty finish. Very fine. Drinking range: 2020 - 2030
